Entry to REPS at Level 3
"If a candidate can show evidence of learning and/or experience which covers all of the learning outcomes for Advanced Fitness Instructing, then they can apply to a Test Centre for assessment which will cost no more than £250.
This cost would include:
- Initial assessment and confirmation of prior learning and/or achievement
- Awarding body registration and certification
- Assessment planning
- Actual assessments, including the cost of the assessor and internal verification
NB: Any manuals, learning resources or any guided study would be an additional cost and at the discretion of the Test Centre/Training provider"

| APA Pre-requisites – For Provisional Level 3 Members of REPS |
Candidates who wish to apply for APA MUST have:
- A provisional Level 3 membership with the Register of Exercise Professionals
- A Degree in Sports Science or related area
- Relevant current experience of working with a variety of clients using free weights, fixed resistance machines, core stability equipment, body weight exercises and cardiovascular machines
